At North Gate Dove, we have a desire to see the transforming power of Jesus Christ permeate to the very core of our community, state, nation and world. A place of love, forgiveness and freedom, we are more than neighbors who gather together, we are a family lifting the name of Jesus high.
Jim Shade
My name is Jim Shade. I am the pastor of Dove Christian Fellowship North Gate in Hamburg, PA. I am married to Jennifer Shade. I am originally from Illinois where I met Jennifer in a bible school. We went overseas to India together with others on our team. I have also taught in several bible schools. I traveled all over the US, mostly on the East Coast training up children, teenagers in the gifts of the spirit, evangelism and prayer. I've been to several countries as a missionary. We have a heart to evengelize our city of Hamburg and see revival in all the churches here.
Jennifer Shade
Hi I am Jennifer Shade, Jeni. I am the pastor's wife. We have a daughter and three sons between us in our combined family, although they are all grown, we remain super proud of them and stay active in their lives. I am an elder at North Gate and serve as the church secretary. I was saved at eight years of age at a time when I know that I needed a Savior and found that in a personal relationship with Jesus. I have been part of the DOVE family for nearly thirty-five years. I love this family of God, where we love our Lord and Savior, each other, and community. This evident by meeting each other's needs and how we reach out to our community. I love hearing the word of the Lord through the prophetic word and use art to draw a reminder of what God has spoken to His children. I am an Education Director by trade and love working with young children at my early childhood school and at church.
